The Pistol Daisys are making waves in the alt-pop world, blending Glasgow’s vibrant grit with heartfelt authenticity to create music that captivates audiences from Scotland to Europe. Known for their high-energy live shows, the duo’s August 2023 headline performance at Glasgow’s Broadcast cemented their status as one of the city’s breakout acts. Their rapid rise caught the attention of music manager Brendan Moon, famed for guiding artists like Paolo Nutini and The View. Under Moon’s direction, Pistol Daisys signed with Morsecode, and are now preparing to release a single once a month leading up to their much anticipated album release. Through 2025, the Daisys will be playing festivals throughout the United Kingdom and beyond, as well as headlining at St Lukes in Glasgow and the famous 100 Club in London.

“St. Glasgow” captures the spirit of the city through Belly’s unique lens, reflecting on her move from Malaysia to Glasgow and the colourful characters that make up its streets. Inspired by a surreal moment where she witnessed an unforgettable alleyway encounter involving a man in a unicorn hoodie, Belly’s lyrics weave humour and culture shock into an ode to Glasgow’s unpredictable charm.

Recalling the encounter, Belly shares, “Seeing that alleyway moment left me reeling—I sprinted back to my flat with no groceries but a notebook full of lyrics. Glasgow has a way of surprising you, and ‘St. Glasgow’ is my tribute to those raw, funny, and unforgettable moments that make this city feel like home.”

With production support from GBX (George Bowie) and Morsecode, the “Saint Glasgow” EP is a deep dive into the duo’s creative process, from raw demos to the polished final track. Belly and Lorna’s undeniable chemistry drives both their recordings and electrifying performances, like their recent set at Rock in Aix-en-Provence, where they played to 15,000 fans.

As they prepare for their November-December tour with Callum Beattie, Pistol Daisys continue to expand their reach and connect with fans across new cities. Following the success of “Whisky & Wine,” “St. Glasgow” offers an unfiltered look into the band’s world, giving listeners a taste of what’s to come on their debut album.

With roots firmly planted in Glasgow’s bold spirit, Pistol Daisys are emerging as one of alt-pop’s most compelling new acts, with music that bridges cultures, creates new connections, and carves their place in the industry.
